Artheal “Cherri” Davis Eaton, age 93, of Madison, Miss., died January 14, 2014 at Highland Home in Ridgeland, Mississippi. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at Barkley Cemetery in Elgin, Ala.
Mrs. Eaton was a native of Rogersville, Ala. and retired after 30 years in furniture sales. She was a great storyteller and loved being the center of attention and the life of the party. She loved gardening and was very artistic and creative in her ability to paint. Her church membership was at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Rogersville, Ala.
Mrs. Eaton was preceded in death by her parents, Emmitt and Florence Davis; and siblings, Millard Davis, Delmar Davis, Oplen Davis, Hazel Thornton, Austerlean Alexander and Cortez Davis.
She had a great love for her family, “her folks” and is survived by her children, Pam Waldrep and Kim Anderson, of Madison, Miss.; grandchildren, Jordan Anderson and Chloe Anderson, of Madison, Miss.; sister, Jackie Davis Cotten, of Madison, Miss.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
