Art Quest: classes at TVAA this summer

TUSCUMBIA-Two summer art courses are being offered at the Tennessee Valley Museum of Art
511 N. Water St., Tuscumbia.

The first is a four day course for artists, ages 8-12, with instructors Barb Hendricks, Pam Wright and Jaceena Shepard, and include 3-D, 2-D, and watermedia instruction.

The second is a three day course for ages 13-16, with artist Martha Carpenter. Class includes instruction in charcoal and pastel.

WHEN: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., July 10 – 13, Mon.-Thur.
FEE: $165 for TVAA Members (Family/Friend and above) $195 for non-members
Class size limited to 15 students

COURSE: ages 13-16
ARTISTS: Carpenter
WHEN: 10 a.m. to noon, July 17 – 19, Mon.-Wed.
FEE: $100 for TVAA members (Family/Friend and above) $125 for non-members
Class size limited to 10 students

Art Quest will stimulate interest and increase knowledge in art. Programs are planned and taught by TVAA educators and artists. Students will not only build skills; they will also develop creativity and their personal style.
