FLORENCE-A Florence man has been charged with burglary and the Florence Police Department explains the circumstances leading up to the arrest:
“Florence Man Charged With Burglary Following Use Of Stolen Debit Card; Florence Police have arrested and charged Jack Avery Brown, 20, or Florence with Vehicle Burglary and Theft after being captured on video using a stolen credit card. Police responded to a reported vehicle burglary on Hough Rd on 01/05/15. A female’s purse and contents were stolen during the reported crime. A short time later the female’s debit card was used a local ATM and police were able to capture video of the suspect. Brown was arrested in Colbert County without incident and currently being held in the LCDC.
