Arrest Made In Robbery Of Alabama Central Credit Union

FLORENCE-The Forence Police Department has issued a statement regarding the robbery of the Alabama Central Credit Union.   Here is what they have to say about the arrest:

” On September 11, 2014 at 1705 hrs, the Florence Police Department arrested Kevin Lavon Armstead (B/M 22 year old) for the robbery of Alabama Central Credit Union on September 8, 2014 and the theft of an automobile from Cherry Hill Homes. This arrest is the from the combined effort of the Florence Police Department, State Bureau of Investigations Task Force, and the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.”
