Arrayah Ella Johnson, passed away on Tuesday, November 15 at Monroe Carell Jr Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt at 8 years old. She lived life to the fullest despite many health complications due to Shaken Baby Syndrome at 6 months. She was A RAY OF SUNSHINE. She was God’s gift to a loving family and an extremely special angel. She touched a lot of people and never used words to impact others. Her life was filled with a love of Elmo, various music, water and the color pink.
She is survived by parents, Michael and Royce Ann Johnson; Grandparents, Robert and Sharyn Johnson, Roy and Glenda Davis; aunt, Bethany (Scott) Sexton, uncle, Glen Davis; cousin, Autumn Sexton.
Arrayah was loved and supported by Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital; many extremely talented and caring doctors and staff. We are especially thankful to the complex care team for their guidance. Along her journey she encountered many caring people including nurses, therapist, social workers and teachers who assisted in her day to day life. Her family is beyond grateful for all of those who assisted in her wellbeing.
Visitation will be at Sellars Funeral Home in Lebanon on Sunday, November 20 from 12 pm -3 pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 3 p.m.
