Arnold Roy Cogar, age 88, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in Jackson. He was born April 13, 1930 in Webster Springs, West Virginia to the late Noah Cogar and Violet Cutlip Hamilton. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran, a retired supervisor for GE in Tiffin, Ohio, and an avid sportsman and excellent marksman. He was preceded in death by his brother, Carsey Cogar. Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Lynne Cogar; son, Steve Schinski; two daughters, Deb Eyer (Tom) and Vicky Renfro; stepdaughter, Michele Griffith (Don); four grandchildren, Jennifer Kerr (Ken), Justin Eyer (Jennifer), Matthew Renfro (Barb), and Wesley Renfro (Shaun); and seven great grandchildren.
