  Arnold Ray Parker Profile PhotoArnold Ray Parker was born December 1, 1951 in Alcorn County, MS, the son of the late Arnold Lee Parker and Francis Flora Wilbanks Parker.

He was united in marriage to Orene Baker on September 6, 2014. He was a member of the Falcon Baptist Church in Selmer, Tennessee.

With a remarkable career spanning 50 years, Arnold dedicated his professional life to the (IBEW) International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Additionally, he shared his adventurous spirit by occasionally driving big rigs, embracing the open roads that allowed him to explore new horizons.

Beyond his professional achievements, he had a passion for hunting and fishing. Conversations with family and friends were a source of happiness for him; he loved connecting with others and sharing stories that brought laughter and comfort. His little dog Mollie also filled his days with happiness.

Mr. Parker departed this life on August 23, 2024 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 72 Years, 8 Months, 22 Days.

He is survived by his wife, Orene Parker of Selmer, TN; two daughters, Katrina Parker of Iuka, MS, Misty Walker and husband Kevin of Iuka, MS; a stepson, Gary Baker and wife Wendy of Selmer, TN; a sister, Melissa Anderson and husband Kelly of Corinth, MS; a brother, Ricky Parker of Iuka, MS; four grandchildren: Greylee Gruthrie, Jack Walker, Logan Baker, and Lainey Baker; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Parker was preceded in death by a brother, Rex Parker.
