LEIGHTON– UPDATE: The Colbert County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest of the suspect who lead them on a chase earlier this evening. The arrest was made around 8:30 pm on Wednesday evening, October 7.
According to investigators a shots were fired during the chase after the suspect crashed his truck on Spangler road in Leighton.
The name of the suspect or charges filed against him have not been released at this time.
