Arlon Gene Brackin, 80, of Muscle Shoals, AL, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 1 p.m. in Elmwood Cemetery, Town Creek, AL. Tommy Smith will be officiating.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, Town Creek, AL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richardson and Elreno Brackin; siblings, Gary Brackin, Shirley Brackin Reding, and Larry Brackin.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Smith Brackin; son, Alex Brackin (Kyra); daughter, Dawn B. Everett (Roger); grandchildren, Ellen Farley (Jonathan), Jessica Brackin, Hayden Terry, Hilton Terry Hollis (Austin); step grandchildren, Ryan and Derek Rowe; great grandson, Gatlin Farley.
Pallbearers will be Alex Brackin, Hayden Terry, Jonathan Farley, , Austin Hollis, Roger Everett, and Roy Thompson. Honorary pallbearer will be Brendon Greene.
