Arline Francis Clark Ruckhaber, 86, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo. Born in Culver City, CA on June 23, 1936, she was a daughter to Arthur Everett Clark and Doris Welton Howard. For many years, she worked as a lab and X-ray technician in doctors’ offices while living in Alaska. She married James Russell Ruckhaber in 1993 and enjoyed many years of dancing whether it be country & western, couple, line, square or round. For 36 years, she taught many the art of all these dances. Arline had a creative touch and could do needle work, crochet afghans, and make quilts. While outdoors, she’d drop a line to fish and for all these years, she liked to go gold prospecting. She was a faithful, devoted member of Common Ground Christian Church.
Memorial services will be on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Common Ground Christian Church with R-Kay Willardson officiating. Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home is assisting the family.
In addition to her husband, James Ruckhaber, she is survived by daughters, Cindy Biswell (Patrick), Wren, Jinene Tucker (Larry), Vernon, AL, and April Boynton (Bob), Fairbanks, AK; grandchildren, Gary Hard, Chelsea Hard, Carrie Moore, Jessi Klark, Sarah Gardner, Jamie Shropshire, and Amber Mitchell; 16 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren, and special friends, Connie Hale, Linda Jones, Betty Truesdale and all of her church and dancing friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a grandson, Damon Hard.
