Arley Masengale age 79 of Guin, AL passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023 at his residence.
Born April 11, 1944 in Monroe County, MS he is the Son of the late Arlie Truman and Chester Ophelia Brewer Masengale and the Husband of Margaret Spruiel Masengale. He had lived in Guin most of his life and had retired from 3M Company. He had served on the Guin Water Board and the Housing Authority Board. He was also a member of the Guin Masonic Lodge and the First Baptist Church of Guin.
He is survived by his Wife, Margaret Masengale, a Son, Paul Masengale (Jaime), 3 Grandchildren, McKaylee Johnson, Marlee Masengale and Cameron Dailey, 3 Great Grandchildren, Sawyer Johnson, Levi Johnson and Arleigh Cait Johnson, a Sister, Jean Stanford, 2 Nieces, Kathy Haney and Judy Kennedy, and 2 Nephews, Ed Stanford and James “Dub” Stafford.
He was also preceded in death by a Son Brad Masengale and a Sister, Flora Mae Stafford.
Services held Sunday, July, 2, 2023 at 3:00 PM from the First Baptist Church in Guin, with Burial in the Friendship North Cemetery in Detroit, AL. Bro. Kenny Hatcher officiating.
Visitation Sunday 1 – 3 pm at the church just prior to service time.
