Arlene Stanley Bolding, age 81, of Decatur, Alabama, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025. She was born on October 18, 1943, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to Vernon and Lucille Stanley.Growing up on a farm in Chugwater, Wyoming
Arlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Bolding; her brother, Roy Stanley; and her parents.
She is survived by her four sons: Mike Bolding, Jim Bolding, Adam Bolding (Amy), and Daryl Bolding (Heather). She was a proud grandmother to Jacob Bolding, Dean Bolding, Julia Bolding, and Kate Bolding. She is also survived by her sister, Loleta Rich (Bob), her brother, Leonard Stanley (Lena) and her loyal dog and companion, Ginger.
Arlene had a deep love for her church and enjoyed a life rooted in family and faith. She spent much of her time on the farm and found joy in crafting, knitting, and working crossword puzzles. She will be remembered for her warm heart, her creativity, and the love she shared with her family and friends.
Services are still being planned.
Arlene will be laid to rest in Ryan Baptist Church, 11136 AL-67, Joppa, AL 35087.
