Arlan Hassell Jackson, 84, of Rogersville died Friday, September 12, 2014, at Mitchell Hollingsworth.
Visitation will be Sunday, September 14, 2014, at Elkins East Chapel from 1-3 PM. Funeral services will follow at 3 PM in the Chapel with Bro. Bill Bishop officiating. Burial will be at Bluewater Cemetery.
Mr. Jackson was a former member of First Baptist Church Springfield and present member of Beacon Baptist Church of Rogersville.
Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his loving wife, Christine, of 66 years; daughter, Wanda Schaub; son, Roy Jackson.
Mr. Jackson is survived by two daughters, Judy Jackson and Arlene Mlynczyk (Art); son, Mark Jackson; four grandchildren, Erin and Kelly Mlynczyk, Danielle Jackson, and Deanna Gamalski; two great-granchildren, Kai Prestage and Justin Stepchuk.
Pallbearers will be Roy Crunk, Bobby Trousdale, Jimmy Ellis, Steve Campbell, Sterling White, Dennis White, Jimmy Taylor, and Marty Mosley.
