ARDMORE-The Ardmore High School Ladies Tiger Softball team won the Northern Regional Qualifier 1 round of games in Florence and Albertville, AL this past weekend.
ARDMORE-The Ardmore High School Ladies Tiger Softball team won the Northern Regional Qualifier 1 round of games in Florence and Albertville, AL this past weekend.They will be leaving for Oxford, AL to play for the 5A State Championship on Tuesday, May 16th.
Ardmore High School will have a pep rally at 8:05 Tuesday morning.
The team and coaches will be leaving the high school at 12:05 PM.
Local businesses and community members will have the opportunity to cheer the team on and show their support by lining the streets between Ardmore High School and Main Street. The team’s route will be coming toward the Town of Ardmore on Ardmore Avenue and turning right on Main Street and proceeding through Ardmore. They will turn right on Gatlin Road to drive through the Cedar Hill parking lot and then head out for Oxford.
There are 8 teams competing for the 5A State Championship. Ardmore’s first game is Wednesday, May 17th at 9:00 AM against Marbury.
The Ardmore Community and Greater Ardmore Chamber is very proud of the Lady Tigers and wish them luck at the State Championship.
