Ardis Lemere Moore, b.k.a “Paul Moe”, was born on April 8, 1967 to Eloise Moore and L.C. Mays. He transitioned peacefully on January 2, 2024.
Ardis accepted Jesus as his Personal Savior and joined St. Luke Christian Church under the leadership of Pastor T.C. Johnson.
Ardis was preceded in death by his parents, Eloise Moore and L.C. Mays; and sisters: Edna McCaulley and Carolyn Dortch.
Ardis memories will forever be cherished by his loving daughters: Paris Moore and Mircedez Moore; five sisters: Shirley (Berry) Clemons, Jewell Moore, Florestine (Thomas) Keith, Pamela Borja and Barbara Peoples; five brothers: Floyd Moore, Kenneth (Debrah) Moore, Daryl (Daphne) Moore, Elder James (Amy) Townsend and Nathan (Eliza) Moore; a special cousin, Jerry McCaulley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Saint Luke Christian Church (1800 Sparkman Drive Huntsville, AL 35816) with Pastor T.C. Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Oakwood Memorial Gardens. Mr. Moore will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
Public viewing will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 10, 2024 and 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 11, 2024 at the Royal Funeral Home.
