TENNESSEE VALLEY-Once again we here in the Tennessee Valley are experiencing bitterly cold weather. And once again there will be school delays and closing. UPDATE-Valley Head School and Fort Payne City Schools announced they would close at 9:45 a.m. but ended up holding buses due to deteriorating road conditions. They’ll be held until the sheriff’s department gives them the all-clear. ALDOT trucks are working to clear roads.

Albertville City Schools – CLOSING at 11 a.m.
Arab City Schools – CLOSING at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday
Athens City Schools – Delayed two hours Tuesday and Wednesday.
Boaz City Schools – Delayed three hours Tuesday and Wednesday.
Childrens House of Montessori – Opening 8:30 am Tuesday, Wednesday.
Colbert County Schools – open at 10 a.m. Tuesday; buses run at 9 a.m.
Cornerstone Christian Academy – CLOSING at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday
Cullman City Schools – Dismissed early on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
Cullman County Schools – CLOSED Tuesday and delayed 2 hours Wednesday. UPDATE: Students will be dismissed at 10:00 a.m.
Decatur City Schools – Delayed 2 hours Tuesday; 1 hour for faculty.
DeKalb County Schools – CLOSING at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday
First Baptist Child Development Center- opening 9 am Tuesday.
Fort Payne City Schools – CLOSING at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday.
Gadsden State Community College – CLOSE today at 11:30 a.m. and delay two hours on Wednesday.
Guntersville City Schools – CLOSED Tuesday, delayed three hours Wednesday.
Huntsville City Schools – opening 10 a.m. Tuesday. Buses on 2 hour delay.
Jackson County Schools – CLOSED Tuesday, delayed 3 hours Wednesday.
Lawrence County Schools – CLOSED Tuesday delayed 2 hours Wednesday. Teachers report on time for early student drop off.
Limestone County Schools – Delayed two hours Tuesday and Wednesday.
Madison Academy – opening at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Wednesday.
Madison City Schools – Delayed 2 hours Tuesday.
Madison County Schools – Delayed 2 hours Tuesday and Wednesday. Buses run 2 hours late.
Marshall Christian School (Albertville) – Doors open at 10 a.m. Tuesday & Wednesday. Students considered tardy at 10:30 a.m. No early morning care.
Marshall County Schools – CLOSED Tuesday,delayed 2 hours Tuesday.
Morgan County Schools – DISMISSING at 2 p.m. today.
Northeast Alabama Community College – Closing at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Day and evening classes cancelled Tuesday.
Scottsboro City Schools – CLOSED Tuesday, delayed three hours Wednesday.
Snead State Community College – CLOSING at 12 p.m. Tuesday and reopen at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Union Chapel Christian Academy –Delayed until 10 a.m. Staff should report to school at 8:30 a.m.
Union Chapel Child Development Center opening 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Wallace State Community College – CLOSED at 10 a.m. Tuesday, opening at 11 a.m. Wednesday
