Archie Maxilee (Mack) Wilson passed away at the age of 82 on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at Shoals Hospital surrounded by his family.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at Spry Memorial Chapel with Bro. Scott Lindsey officiating the service. The burial will be at Dempsey Cemetery. Pallbearers: Michael Brown, Marty Vandiver, Jeff Wilson, Phillip Rogers, and Anthony Williams, Honorary pallbearers, John Barber, Steve Oliver, Johnny Jones, Gene McCalmon.
He was preceded in death by first wife, Martha Deane Wilson, his parents Claude & Mellie Wilson, Infant son, Greg Wilson, Siblings; Francis Rikard, W.C. Wilson, Margie Townend, Esterlene Boyd.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 20 years, Alta Wilson; sons, Michael Wilson, Kevin Wilson (Kim) and Wesley Hester (Maridy); Grandchildren, Kaycee Wilson, Kelcey Wilson, Cohen Hester and Mary Ellis Hester; great-grandchild, Tyler Ingram: siblings, Geneva Townsend, Darcy Kuykendall, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses on the 4th floor at Shoals Hospital, especially Jalessa Ward.
