Archie Ben Nelson, 61, of Russellville passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017, at his residence.
Mr. Nelson was born in Franklin County and lived in the Russellville area all of his life. He was retired from maintenance with Pilgrim’s Pride. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Gayle Nelson and his father-in-law, Malcolm Seal; brothers-in-law, Roger Baker and Ollie Guy Graham.
His survivors include his wife, Wenda Kay Seal Nelson and two sons, Archie Ben Nelson, Jr. (Benji) and Adam Justin Nelson. He was also the grandfather to four grandchildren, Tyler, Skylar, Austin and Christian Nelson. His mother, Faylene Nelson, and his mother-in-law, Nettie Mae Seal survive him. He is also survived by his three sisters, Gayla Nelson, Jackie Baker and Sarah Young and husband, George. Although not his own family, but he felt as though they were, survivors also include brother-in-law, Michael Seal and wife, Chris; and sister-in-law, Rene Seal Kimbrough and husband, Jeff. Nieces, nephews and friends also survive him.
A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
