Archie B Chambers was born March 23, 1938 in Selmer, TN the daughter of the late Casey Odell and Ethel Mae Hunt Wardlow.
Ms. Chambers was retired from ITT-SWF where she served for several years as the office manager. She was also secretary for 20 years for the McNairy Superintendent of Schools. She graduated from Michie High School where she had been a cheerleader. Ms. Chambers was full of life. She was a classy lady who loved fashion and her signature red lipstick. She was full of life and loved life. She loved her pets, traveling, decorating her home, and her dear friends. Ms. Chambers also attended the Fourth Street church of Christ and the Acton church of Christ.
Ms. Chambers is survived by a daughter, Cynthia (Cindy) Chambers of Selmer, TN; a sister, Voneda Faye (Wardlow) Howard of Michie, TN; nieces, Pam (Howard) Buckley and husband Mark, Brenda Kay (Wardlow) Jarvis and husband Bill; and nephews, Kenneth Howard and Michael Willard Wardlow and wife Sylvia.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Chambers was preceded in death by a brother Willard Wardlow and wife Doris; brother-in-law, Elgin Howard; and father of Cindy, Glen “Abb” Abernathy Chambers.
