THE SHOALS – In this, the Holiday Season, there are always the obligatory luncheons, company parties… small get-togethers. And for the most part, they are an enjoyable break in the monotony of a work-a-day world.
Some are uplifting gatherings that celebrate the accomplishments of hard-working, dedicated people. This past Friday was one of those events. It was the annual Arc of the Shoals Awards Ceremony. This is the event where the Arc Administration and Directors recognize the achievements of the people they serve; those members of the Community with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
