April Michaelle McDowell, 38 of Harvest, Alabama died on Monday, April 1, 2013, at her home.
Born Saturday, May 18, 1974 in Athens, Alabama, she was the daughter of James Martin and Cheryl Pylant Norman. She was a lifelong resident of this area and enjoyed playing the flute, cooking, and doing crafts. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. She was a member of The Rock Family Worship Center.
Surviving are her husband: Daniel McDowell of Harvest, AL, her father: James B Martin of Ardmore, AL, her mother: Cheryl Norman of Harvest, AL, a brother, Jasen Martin of Nashville, TN, and a sister, Jennifer Herkommer of Athens, AL.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama.
