Anthony Wayne “Tony” Gurley, 40, died Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at North Ms. Medical Center. He was born October 30, 1971 in Selmer, Tn. and was a logger.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, September 14, at Antioch Baptist Church, Golden, Ms. with Bro. Skippy Rowland officiating. Burial will be in Hodge Cemetery, Jericho Road, Golden, Ms. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Ms. will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his wife – Amanda Gurley, Golden, Ms.; three children – Andrea Michelle Gurley, Kristy Marie Gurley and Wesley James Gurley; his mother – Brenda Hodum (James) Pochahontas, Tn.; one sister – Tonya Baker, Hornsby, Tn. and his father and mother-in-law – Larry and Nola Underwood, Golden, Ms.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Wayne Gurley.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, September 13, at Antioch Baptist Church and continue until service time on Friday.
