Anthony Shane O’Dear, age 46 of Cowan, passed away on August 16, 2024, at Southern Tennessee Regional Health Systems in Winchester. He was born on January 18, 1978, in Bedford County, Tennessee to Timothy O’Dear and Linda Noles. Anthony worked and farmed for Tripple R. Dairy Farms many years ago. His hobbies included fishing, building model cars, and watching Yellowstone as well as many other television series. Anthony was a gentle man, with a great sense of humor who loved to make people laugh. He attended the End of Time Mission Church. Anthony is preceded in death by his father, Timothy O’Dear; and brother-in-law, Dennis Riddle. He is survived by his wife, Tammy O’Dear; children, Journey Master Ayers (Gary), Jennifer Holt (Adam), Kenneth Gipson; grandchildren, Destiny Master, Ivy Ayers, Gracie Holt, Hunter Holt, Hailey Holt; a great-granddaughter on the way; mother and step-father, Linda O’Dear Benson and Gary Gass; sister, Julie Riddle; brothers, Bruce Reed, Shane Allen Guffey; step-brother, Bobby Gass; step-sister, Janet Gass; nephews, DJ Riddle (Katie), Timothy Riddle (Rita); great nephews, Zayden, Remmington, Trydin; and great nieces, Miraina and Trinity. A visitation will be held on Sunday August 18, 2024, from 12pm-2pm, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 2pm on August 18, 2024, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with Brother Johnny Turner. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
