Anthony Darnell WebsterAnthony Darnell Webster, age 57, a beloved resident of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Magnolia Healthcare and Rehabilitation. He was born in Maury County and was the son of the late Stockard Lee Webster, Jr. and the late Addie Mae Davis Webster. Anthony attended Mt. Pleasant High School and worked at the Glass plant in Mt. Pleasant, Kasbar in Columbia, and at the Boating Arena. He was a faithful member of Macedonia Church of Christ until his health declined.

Anthony is survived by his loving wife, Renater Webster.  He leaves behind a legacy of love through his daughters, Laquitta Davis and Ashley (Donta) Gassaway, and four cherished grandchildren, Evan, Avery, Danielle, and Ayden.

He will be remembered fondly by his sisters, Diane, Regina, Connie, Jerrica, and Denise, and his brothers, Reginald, Rev. Donald (Carletta) Webster, Ronald, Derrick Webster, Jason, Petey, and Kimmy.  Anthony’s extended family includes sister-in-law Minnie (Samual) Davis, Patricia Martin, brothers-in-law James (Mildred) Caruthers and Danny Caruthers, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved and admired him.

A funeral service to celebrate Anthony’s life will be held on Saturday, October 14th, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home, with Rev. Donald D. Webster officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the service hour at the funeral home. Following the service, Anthony will be laid to rest in Maury Memorial Gardens.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Pallbearers honoring Anthony’s memory will be Larry Maxwell, De’Montre Sharp, Omar Craig, Jason Webster, Kevin Webster, Terry William, Hollis Jordan, Toryal Crawford, and Larmar Webster.
