Anthony Dale Smith, 61, of Spruce Pine, passed away, Monday, November 20, 2023. Visitation will be Friday, November 24, 2023 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. The funeral will immediately follow with Pastor Paul Holloway and Brother Larry Burbank officiating. Interment will be at Pine Hill Church Cemetery.
Tony was a member of J.C. Young Holiness Church and a driver for the Lauderdale County Waste Department. He is preceded in death by his father, Delmer Smith and brother- in-law J.C. Chowning .
He is survived by his wife Rhonda; step-children, Benjamin and Austin Odom; mother, Mary Lucille Smith; sister, Debra Chowning; brothers, Tim Smith (Kim) and Terry Smith; step-grandchildren, Trinity, Leelynn, and Arayah Odom; host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Smith, Andrew Smith, Ricky Sharp, Dale Bevis, Austin Odom, and Dusty Smith.
