Graveside service for Mrs. Annie V. Henderson, age 84, of Fayetteville, will be conducted 1 p.m. Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Graves officiating. Mrs. Henderson will be beside her husband Oscar Melvin Henderson who passed away in 2013.She passed away March 31, 2017 at her residence.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late King Soloman and America Niomie Towry Colbert. She was a bus driver with the Lincoln County Schools, worked as a custodian at Highland City School and owned an alteration company in Fayetteville.
Survivors include her daughter Susan Michelle (Charles Mike) Ingle of Anniston, AL, sons Paul Henderson of Flintville, TN, and Christopher (Jean) Henderson of Bradenton, FL; grandchildren Heath (Karen) Nave, Tiffany (fiance David Manning) Nave, Christopher Henderson, Zachary Henderson, Shannon (Ryan) Hill, and Brent (Brooke) Ingle; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother Rabon (Gail) Colbert. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her siblings Thelma McAllister, Vouncile Isabell, Katherin Flynn, Thomas Colbert, Curtis Colbert, James Colbert, Reedes Colbert, Harold Wayne Colbert, Earl Colbert and J.D. Colbert.
There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Annie V. Henderson.
