Annie Ruth Winborn, 76, of Florence, AL passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home. She was born March 11, 1936 to the late Elsie and Homer Winborn. Her visitation will be Thursday, November 15 at Morrison Funeral Home, Florence/Central Heights from 12 noon until 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel Thursday at 2:00 pm with Wayne Wood officiating and burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by one sister Clara Dee Daniel and four brothers Orlan, Ray, James and MacArthur Winborn.
She is survived by sisters Jeanette Benson and Ressie Gilchrist, both of Florence, AL.
Pallbearers will be David Winborn, Dale Benson, Shane Thompson, Steve Gilchrist, Roger Gilchrist, Doug Winborn and Tommy Daniel.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home for the special care they gave her while she was with them.
