Annie Ruth "MS Annie" Emmons Profile Photo Graveside services for Annie Ruth “MS Annie” Emmons, 91 of Burnsville, MS are set for Friday, July 7, 2023 at 2:00pm at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Tiplersville, MS. with Greg Woodruff officiating the service. Visitation will be Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 5pm-8pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST. Pallbearers will be Sherrel Umfress, John Wells, Harold Booth, Jeffrey Lovelace, David Lovelace and Jay Potts. Honorary pallbearers will be James Lovelace, Haymond Brown and Gerald Glidewell. Born June 8, 1932 in Ripley, MS., MS Annie passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023 at Tishomingo Community Living Center. She was a retired factory worker and a charter member of Temple Baptist Church in Burnsville. Annie Ruth loved her family and friends and enjoyed her vegetable and flower garden, riding her lawn mower and taking care of her lawn and quilting. She loved to cook and everyone loved her fried pies. She became an avid walker in her later years. Those left to cherish MS Annie’s memory include her daughter, Dianne Lambert-Chester; cousin, Vance Robertson and wife Ida; nephew, Gerald Glidewell and wife Barbara; niece, Kay Woodruff; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Troy Emmons; father, “Gib” Robertson and mother, Lela Drewery Robertson. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Tishomingo Community Living Center, Temple Baptist Church or a charity of your choice in her name. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Annie Ruth “MS Annie” Emmons.
