Annie Ruth Chambers Staggs, age 78, of Florence, passed away June 15, 2023. Visitation will be Monday, June 19th from 12:00 – 2:00 with service immediately following at Williams Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Officiating the service will be Bro. Jerry Balentine, David Butler, Jr., and Chris Staggs.
Mrs. Staggs was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Staggs; granddaughter, Kayla Purser; grandson, James Earl “Junior” Staggs; son-in-law, Lawrence “Bo” Aday; parents, George, and Goldie Chambers; brothers, Junior, Doyle, Bobby Ray Sr. Chambers. Others preceding are sisters, Louise Chambers, Dorothy O’Kelly, Geneva Chambers, and Barbara White.
Survivors include sons, Randy Staggs (Kathy), Roy Lee Staggs (Angela), Kenny Staggs (Sherry), Charles Staggs (Melissa); daughters, Brenda Sutton (Donny), Doris Aday, Betty Butler (David Sr.) Teresa Butler (Marc) Mary Jones (Barry), and Jenny Ferrell (Pat). Additional survivors include twenty-four grandchildren; and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be grandsons and sons-in-law.
Mama was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is dearly loved and will be dearly missed. Another angel entered heaven.
