Annie Ruth Beason Sharp, 81, of Fort Payne, passed away October 22, 2022 at Collinsville Health and Rehab. Mrs. Sharp was born on November 29, 1940 to the late Clarence Lee and Willodeen Guffey Beason. She was a longtime member of Southeast Baptist Church and retired from the Gildan Corporation where she worked as a seamer.
Funeral Services will be 4:00pm Monday, October 24, 2022 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Keef and Ben Sharp officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday beginning at 1:30 until the 4:00pm hour of service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sharp is survived by her children, Andy Sharp (Janice) and Karen Meadows (Dan); brother, Alton Beason (Sue); sister, Brenda Hawkins; daughter-in-law: Debra Sharp; sister-in-law, Sandra Beason; grandchildren, Seth Sharp, Ben Sharp (Brittney), Matthew Sharp, Laura Simoneaux (Jacob); and Amanda Poe; step-grandchildren, Justen Hill and Heather Pruitt; great-grandchildren, Hunter Poe, Leiah Rae Sharp and Bentley Sharp; and step-great-grandchildren, Lillie, Tanner, and Tucker Pruitt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel E. Sharp; son, Dale Randolph Sharp; and brother Elton Beason.
