A funeral service for Annie R. Boyd, 88, of Eva, will be Saturday at 1:00PM at Eva Baptist Church with Bro. Phillip Roberson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 11:00AM ~ 1:00PM at the church. Burial will be at Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church cemetery. Mrs. Boyd was born on March 25, 1936 to George and Bessie Childers. She passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Falkville Health Care.
Annie was a member of Eva Baptist Church for seventy years. She loved the Lord, loved gospel singings and loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband L.D. Boyd, brother Cleburn Childers, sisters Evi Lee Fortenberry, Averine Holmes, Mildred White, Demaris Fortenberry and Jimmie Gable.
Survivors Include:
Brother: G.C. Childers Jr.
Two sisters: Barbara Frost and Gayle Frost
A host of nieces and nephews
Nephews will serve as pallbearers
