Mrs. Annie Potter Wray, age 85, of Scottsboro, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was a charter member of the Faith Covenant Church of God.
She is survived by her children, Kerry (Cindy) Wray, Kendall (Kathy) Wray, and Karen (Rickey) Whitehead all of Scottsboro; grandchildren, Stephanie Ledwell (Adam Haislip), Robby (Amanda) Webb, Brittany (Chris) Hovanec, and Matthew (Julia) Whitehead; great-grandchildren, Madison Fletcher, Colin Ledwell, Drayden Doss, Myla Stewart, Nash Hovanec, Landry Hovanec, Wyatt Hovanec, and Shepherd Whitehead; brother, Jr. (Elaine) Potter; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, of 64 years, William Jr. Wray; daughter, Kathy Wray; parents, Ed and Ruby Potter; sisters, Eunice Bellomy, and Brenda Selvage.
Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Brett Hogland officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
