Annie Pearl Guthrie Raike, age 63, Russellville, Ala., passed away on Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Birmingham, Ala., after an extended illness. The visitation will be from noon-2 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at Akins Funeral Home, Russellville, Ala. The 2:00 p.m. funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel with Brother Ed Bragwell officiating. Interment will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Benny Martin, Jack Mason, Barry Winsted, Tony Reedy, Tim Skidmore and Donnie Joe Hester.
She is preceded in death by father, Dewey Guthrie; mother, Ruby Guthrie Woods; sisters, Frances Allen, Diane Ables; brother, Wayne Guthrie.
She is survived by daughter, Julie Mason and son-in-law, Jack Mason; grandson, Cameron Mason and Baby Mason; daughter, Mandy Winsted and son-in-law, Barry Winsted; granddaughter, Scarlett Winsted; sisters, Alice Reedy and Bertha Pendegraph; nephews, Benny Martin, Tony Reedy, Allen Guthrie and Dewey Paul Guthrie; niece, Sandra Eurich.
