Annie Louise SmallwoodAnnie Louise Smallwood, 88, Tuscumbia, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025. Visitation will be Thursday, March 6, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will be Friday, March 7, at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Ricky Zahnd officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Missionary Baptist Cemetery, Tuscumbia.

Louise was a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and a retired certified nursing assistant. She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie Mae and Roy Lee Mitchell.

Louise is survived by her husband of sixty-nine years, James “Buddy” Smallwood; children, Patsy Carmack (Dennis), Pam McCullough, Paula Dobbs (Clark), Phillip Smallwood (Beverly), Debbie Howard (Donnie); brother, O’Neal Mitchell (Debbie); sisters, Eulean Fuller and Emma Jean McFall; grandchildren, Kyla Preciado (Rapheal), Matt Carmack (Leah), Suzan Danials (James), Jessica Childers (Shorty), Ashton Sims (Tyler), John Dobbs, Koby Dobbs (Kiana), Courtney Daniel (Josh), and Jordan Elkins (Mark); great-grandchildren, Caleb Sibley, Kailey Fleming (Dalton), Kaiden Preciado, Harper Carmack, C. J. Hamm, Belle Hamm, Tristan Hamm, Austin Daniels, Thatcher Simms, Walker Simms, Claire Daniel, Cohen Daniel, Gemma Elkins, Georgia Elkins, and Mark Elkins, Jr.; and great-great-grandchildren, Kaycen Sibley, Carsyn Sibley, and Ellanor Fleming.

Pallbearers will be Josh Daniel, Matt Carmack, John Dobbs, James Daniels, Chris Childers, and Donnie Howard.
