Annie Louise Brandon Griffin met her Creator at NMMC in Tupelo at 1:20 AM Friday, December 1, 2023. Louise, a sharp, engaged and productive soul, lived a long fruitful life of 92 years and 15 days. Louise and her late husband, Clarence, owned and operated Griffin Realty in Tupelo for many years. She was a highly sought after professional realtor often a million dollar producer and, after retiring from real estate, owned and operated Louise’s Fashion Corner. A longtime member of Harrisburg Baptist Church, Louise had lived the last 8 years of her life at the Mitchell Center and was affectionately known there as Shug! Louise was born on November 15, 1931 to the late Lawrence E. Brandon and Rosa Bell Witcher Brandon. She was predeceased in death by her parents, her husband, Clarence, of over 50 years, and two brothers, Otis Brandon and Dennis Brandon.

A service celebrating Louise’s life will be held at 2 PM Sunday, Dec. 3, 2023, in the Sadie M. Holland Memorial Chapel at Holland Funeral Directors in Tupelo with Rev. David Langerfeld officiating. A private burial will follow in Tupelo Memorial Park. Visitation for the public will begin at Noon Sunday at the funeral home and continue until service time. Louise is survived by her sons, Michael Griffin of Tupelo, and Tim Griffin (Patsy) of Belden; her grandchildren, Ashley Griffin Webb of Huntsville, Kevin Griffin and Jayme Griffin, both of Belden, and Alex Griffin of Tupelo; 2 great-grandchildren, Skyler and Jacy; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families.
