Mrs. Annie Lorene Posey McPeters, 93, of Huntsville passed away Monday, August 22, 2016. Mrs. McPeters was native of Madison County Alabama and a resident of Huntsville all her adult life. She was retired from Southern Bell after 34 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her father: David Carrol Posey; her mother: Mary Verna Slaytan Posey; her sister: Wilma Posey Lindsey: her brother: Noland Posey who was killed in the Korean War and husband of 63 years: D. M. McPeters.
She is survived by nineteen nieces and nephews; one special grand-niece: Sandy Honea and three additional special devoted care givers: Kay Swell, Shirley Lamb and Gretchen Ayers.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home followed by a Chapel service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Buddy Alverson officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery
