Annie Lo was born on April 14, 1925 and was raised in East Florence by her late parents Roy and Minnie Carter Harris. She was the oldest of four children. She was a class of 1943 graduate from Coffee High School.
Annie Lo married her childhood sweetheart on June 1, 1946. They raised three children together. She and her husband had a very loving relationship and enjoyed gardening and traveling together. After many years, she retired from Tee Jay’s Mfg. She admired the little things in life such as her flower gardens and sitting on her deck watching the birds. She was a baker and cook and will be remembered by many for her talents. Some of her greatest blessings in life called her Mammaw and Mimi. She effortlessly took on the roles of wife, mother, grandmother, Christian, and friend. She blessed the lives of many and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Robert Howard Watson, Sr; parents, Roy and Minnie Carter Harris; and brothers, Jack, Glenn, and Bobby Harris.
Mrs. Watson is survived by her children, Robert Howard Watson, Jr., Rebecca Sue Watson Dumas (Bill), Julie Ann Watson Wylie; grandchildren, Anthony Watson (Teri), Mechelle Burcham (Clint Howard), Brandy Davis (Hoover), Leah Paden, Janelle Perry (Garrett), Ben Wylie (Kayla); 5 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; a host of friends; and her Shih Tzu, Sasha.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Watson, Bill Dumas, Dennis Harris, Jonathan Harris, Ben Wylie, and Garrett Perry.
Her children would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Mitchael Bowen and his nurse Cyndi Ledlow; special thanks to Amedisys Home Health and Marsha Bratcher, her hairdresser.
