Annie Lee Woodard, age 94, of Dora, passed away February 5, 2024. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024, at 2pm in the New Horizon Chapel with Bro. Ted Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Freewill Cemetery in West Jefferson. The family will receive friends from 1pm until 2pm on Thursday.
Ms. Woodard was preceded in death by her parents Ross and Thera Holmes Lowrance and her three brothers Frank Lowrance, Edward “Sonny” Lowrance and Jerry Lowrance. She is survived by her two sons Mark (Antoinette) Woodard and Barry (Lori) Woodard, four grandchildren Haley (Ryan) Tingle, Heather (Brian) Busby, Hilary (Jason) Doss and Marcus Woodard, along with ten great grandchildren and niece Angie Lowrance and nephews Rossie Lowrance and Anthony (Cam) Lowrance.
Ms. Woodard loved her family, especially being Meemaw to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a simple, loving, caring and Godly woman who will be missed by all who knew her.
