Annie Lee InmonAnnie Lee Edwards Inmon,90, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024 from the North MS Medical Center Hospice Unit. She was born April 7, 1934 in Nettleton to Rev. L.C. and Jimmie Rhudy Edwards. She was a 1952 graduate of Nettleton High School. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Nettleton and served as the church secretary. She worked for South Central Bell for over 34 years retiring as a supervisor. She was a life member of the Telephone Pioneers, an EMT with the Nettleton Ambulance Service, she served as Clerk for the City of Nettleton for 25 years. After her retirement, she and Junior would set up at flea markets in the area. She enjoyed going to Daytona Beach, loved the outdoors and fishing, She loved making cakes and carrying them to shut-ins and loved helping people.

Services will be 2 PM Wednesday, September 18, 2024,, at First Baptist Church, Nettleton with Bro. Brad Geno officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

She is survived by her sister, Macie Williams of Tupelo; one brother, David Edwards of Brevard, NC; one brother-in-law, Stephen Hernandez; two sisters-in-law, Francis Warren and Martha Inmon; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Junior Inmon; her only son, Tommy Inmon; her brothers, JC Edwards and Boyce Edwards; one sister, Mary Sullivan Carnathan; her brothers-in-law, Elton Williams, Wayne Sullivan and Joe Carnathan.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Green, Mike Edwards, Clay Coggin, Peyton Reed, Ricky Joe Inmon and Richard Rhudy. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brandon Inmon, Randy Rhudy, Mike Boren, Wesley Edwards, James Coggin, Sammy Reed, Christopher Morgan and Rob Herring.

Visitation will be 1 – 2 Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Nettleton.
