Mrs. Annie Laurie Pepper, 92, of Huntsville died Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Huntsville Hospital Hospice at Redstone Village with family by her side.

Throughout her adult life as a homemaker, Mrs. Pepper took great pride in caring for her family, her home, and her yard. She loved to sew, bowl, play volleyball and badminton, exercise, and work in her vegetable and flower gardens. She was an active member of Huntsville Park Baptist Church for 65 years.

She is predeceased by her husband, James Edward Pepper; her son, James (Jim) Earl Pepper; and great-grandson, Elyaes Gerstgraser, as well as her parents, Frank and Bea Mitchell, and sisters, Frances Mackey and Virginia McLeod, all of Gadsden, Alabama.

She is survived by three daughters, Frances Trevarthen (Jim), Sharon Yalowitz (Jeff), Jena Alldredge (Lance), and her daughter-in-law, Gay Pepper; nine grandchildren, Sheena Knight (Robert), Erin Fernow (Sean), Kyla Lee, Collin Lee (Lais), Daniel Yalowitz, Benjamin Yalowitz, Jordan Huskey (Matt), Justin Alldredge (Drew), Jessica Gerstgraser (Elliott), Gina van Leeuwen, and Joey Yalowitz; five great grandchildren, Hayden and Logan Knight, Ari van Leeuwen, Olivia Lee, Sorren Gerstgraser, and Emeryk Uelmen.

The Celebration of Life Service will be at Huntsville Park Baptist Church, Saturday, July 9th, at 12:00 Noon. Visitation with the family will begin Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Church. A graveside service will take place Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Valhalla Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to Huntsville Park Baptist Church and Huntsville Hospital Hospice in memory of Mrs. Pepper will be appreciated. The interment will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
