Annie Evelyn Kennamore, 85, Leighton, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. Visitation will be Saturday, July 13, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Shane Swinney officiating. Interment will be in Glendale Cemetery Muscle Shoals.
Evelyn was a member of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Kennamore; son, Roland Gene Kennamore; sister, Shirley Slaby; brothers, Jimmy Webb and Gene Webb; and granddaughter, Danielle Alexander.
She is survived by her children, Sherry Baird (James Epstein), Doy Kennamore (Darlene), Sheila Weaver (Marc) and Jackie Kennamore (Stacy); brother, Jackie Webb; special family members, Ray and Chris Kennamore; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Russell Kennamore, Will Baird, Daniel Kennamore, Britton Kennamore, Brody Watson, and Thomas Arcuri.
The family offers special heartfelt thanks to Southern Care New Beacon Hospice, especially SueAnn Harville and Tammy Taylor; and caregivers, Donella Denson, Charlotte Wilbanks, Liz Snipes, and Kelly Burdette.
