 Annie Dee MathisFuneral services for Annie Dee Mathis, 82 of Corinth are set for Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 11:00am at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with interment to follow at Forrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 8, 2019 from 5:00pm-9:00pm and Thursday, May 8, 2019 from 8:30am until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home. Annie was born May 8, 1936 in Alcorn County, MS and passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at her home in Corinth. She was a retired housekeeper at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of Community Tabernacle. Annie loved to go to church and taking care of her faithful companion, her dog, Beverly. She enjoyed taking care of children, gardening and working in her flower beds. Survivors include her son, Billy Wayde Mathis of Corinth; daughter, Shelia Settlemires of Corinth; grandchildren, Shane Mathis and wife Jennifer, Christopher Mathis, Nicholas Mathis, Fransica Snyder and husband Joe, Ken Talley and wife Jennifer, Branson Spencer, Rebecca Spencer and Brantley Spencer; great grandchildren, Mattie, Nick, Emma, Gracie, Nathan, Cheyenne, Jonathan, Kelynn, Hunter, Jackson, Katelynn, Jud Thomas and Brandon; great great grandchildren, Kiley, Khloe and Kadence; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Gladys O. Mathis; great grandchild, Kaylee Brooke Mathis; father, Mark Spencer; mother, Vera Glisson Spencer; brother, R. G. Spencer and sister, Eva Sue Mathis. Pallbearers will be Shane Mathis, Christopher Mathis, Nicholas Mathis, Ken Talley, Branson Spencer and Joe Snyder. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jud Thomas. Rev. Kelly Zellner, Rev. Mike Lee and Bro. Trent Spencer will officiate the service. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to care for the family of Mrs. Annie Dee Mathis.
