Annie Belle Cooper Henry – Obituary

Annie Belle Cooper Henry was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on October 12, 1918 the daughter of the late James Fountain and Georgia Beatrice Crotts Franks.

In January of 1936 she was united in marriage to Simpson Brown Cooper, who preceded his wife in death December 1, 1971. She was later united in marriage to XO Henry, who also preceded her in death.

Mrs. Henry worked for Brown Shoe Company for 20 years as a Insole Stitcher. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Mathiston, Mississippi. Mrs. Henry enjoyed shopping, sewing, gardening and home decorating.

She departed this life on November 2, 2016 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 98 years and 21 days.

Mrs. Henry is survived by her children, Rebecca Spitz of Annapolis, Maryland, Betty Parrish Jones of Savannah, Tennessee and Judy Cooper of Pawleys Island, South Carolina.

one sister, Melissa Franks of Savannah, Tennessee

two nieces, Annie Sue Weems and Bea Hammond

Mrs. Henry was also preceded in death by one brother, Earl Franks and four sisters, Inez Cooper, Harriet Ramage, Lettie Weatherly and Ruie Franks.
