Annice Lera Scoggins – Obituary

Annice Lera Scoggins, 93, of Gadsden, formerly of Huntsville, passed away Thursday. Mrs. Scoggins was preceded in death by her husband, Ras Thomas Scoggins, son, Ronald Terry Scoggins, stepchildren, Ras Patrick Scoggins and Peggy Scoggins Henson, sister, Eva Sherrill Jackson, and parents, Lee and Jessie Sherrill. She was a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church.

Survivors include stepdaughter, Betty Scoggins Humphrey of Cook Springs; numerous step grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Harold Roy Sherrill; brother-in-law, Robert Jackson, of Gadsden; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, with the service immediately following in the chapel. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
