She is survived by her husband, Larry Joe Aderholt. Her daughter and son-in-law, Suzie and Ken Hunter. Her beloved brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Donnie and Darlene Aderholt. Her niece and nephew-in-law, Hannah and Erik Gilbreath and their children, Ethan and Maggie Frances; niece, Angie (Jody) Williams; nephew, Rusty (Karen) Williams; and a host of other family & friends.

Her siblings, Nell Cantrell, Sanders Buckner (Bunky) Williams, James (Jimmy) Russell Williams, Virginia Ruth (Billy) Clark, and Hubert Dwayne Williams.

She was a faithful member of Haleyville 1st Baptist Church and prior to that South Haleyville Church of God. She worked in the Haleyville City school system until her retirement in 2002, while also helping Larry at their store, Aderholt’s Feed, Seed & Tack. She enjoyed being around people and missed working so after her retirement she worked temporarily at Wal-Mart and for several years at 1st Baptist Church in the office and with Little Lambs.

Annette was a faithful and wonderful wife to her husband. A devoted and loving mother to her children. She was an affectionate, dedicated and hardworking woman who always put the needs of others ahead of her own. She was always ready to lend a helping hand and offer words of encouragement and comfort. Her personality brought warmth and joy to everyone she encountered. She loved life and lived a very happy and full life. She enjoyed supporting and being involved in anything her children did including being a homeroom mother, baseball mom, softball mom and band booster. She was an extremely talented seamstress making most of her clothes and those of her children until she started working. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, bowling and excercising whether walking at the track with her friends, going to the gym, water aerobics and exercise classes. She enjoyed going anywhere with Larry including coon hunts, car shows, estate sales and so many other places. Traveling to horse arenas throughout the southeast with her son Fran watching him barrel race with his horse Tennessee Ernie and to State and National competitions. Shopping and taking trips with her daughter Suzie. But the thing she loved most was just being home with her family, spending time with them and especially cooking for them. Her passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved her, especially her family.

Annette was a very strong person and determined to fight against her illness with all hope of defeating it. While it is impossible to recognize everyone that played a role in her caregiving the family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Jerry Harrison, Dr. Kathryn Dean, Jennifer Tidwell, Kaylin Gravitt Brasher, the personnel at As Close As Family (Velincia Terrell, Emlie Quinn and Ciera Lowe), the personnel at Enhabit Hospice (Jonna Morrow) and everyone at Hendrix Healthcare and Rehab.

The family would also like to thank all of the family and friends who showered them and Annette with texts, phone calls, visits, cards, flowers, food and so much more throughout her prolonged illness. There are no words to express how much your outpouring of love meant to Annette & Larry during this difficult time.
