Paula “Annette” Price age 65 of Killen passed away on Sunday August 7, 2016. Visitation will be Tuesday evening August 9, 2016, from 6:00pm till 8:00pm at Elkins East Chapel. Services will be Wednesday August 10, 2016 at 2:00pm at Elkins East Chapel with Miles Stutts officiating. Burial will be at Hale Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Faye Thigpen.
Annette is survived by her children Jennifer Price, Jason Price (Stacy) and Jeffery Price (Susan). Five grandchildren, Madison, Brantley, Gunter, Dakota and Lakin. Brother, John Thigpen (Leigh) and sister Sandy Murks (Greg). Nieces and nephews, Daniel (Sarah), Audrey (Billy), Heather (Joe), Katie (Glenn), Ross (Miriam) and Ryan (Bree). Great nieces and nephews; Jackson, Chesley, Cecilia, Walt, Robert, Ruby Faye, Hannah, Alexis and Liam. One aunt and many cousins.
She was a momma to three, a mother to many and a friend to all. She never missed an event that involved any of her children, grandchildren or nieces and nephews. Family was a huge part of her life.
She was a member of Atlas Church of Christ.
Annette was a humble and kind person always giving to others before herself. She loved her flowers and being outside. Spring and Fall were her favorite times of the year.
Pallbearers will be Billy Ezekiel, Glenn Miller, Daniel Thigpen, Blake Hargett, Will Haddock, Will Hinton, Matt Austin and Chris Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be Brantley, Gunter, Dakota, Jackson, Walt and Robert.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Clearview Cancer Institute in Decatur, Amedysis Hospice, Golden Ladies at Atlas Church of Christ, her cousin who was more of a sister, Patricia Kirk and special friend Mary Kollefrath.
