Annette Hayes Burcham, 73 of Sheffield, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Her family will receive friends Friday, December 18, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Tuscumbia. The funeral will be Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Florence with Rev. Roy Runkle officiating. She will lie-in-state from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memorial Park.
Annette was an Alabama native and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she enjoyed her volunteer work in RCIA and the soup kitchen and was a former “Red Hat” Lady. She was the first female truck driver for Reynolds Metals where she later retired.
She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Ann Clemmons (Wade) of Tuscumbia; son, Kim David Patterson; grandchildren, Erin Gray (Gregg), Taylor Schweighardt and Sara Walker; and one great grandchild, Bryant Gray.
Pallbearers will be Fred Hall, Bill Cook, John Lawton, John Lee, Neil English, and Mark Smith.
