Annette G. Balch Annette Gray Balch, 88, died of Multiple Myeloma on August 1, 2024 in Murfreesboro, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents and great granddaughter, Weslee Gianna Balch.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Dr. B.W. Balch of Murfreesboro, TN; son, John D. Balch (Sheila) of Murfreesboro, TN; daughter, Margaret B. Farmer (John) of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Thomas (Marida) Balch, Ben (Lauren) Balch, Amy Balch, Joshua (Kaitlin) Farmer, Ethan (Cayla) Farmer, Anna (Caleb) Dyson; and  great grandchildren, Eli, Ryman, Asher, Kinley, Jude, Hudson, Karley, Kolbe, June, and Lila.

Annette was born on March 5, 1936 in Limestone County, AL to parents Magdalene and Woodrow Gray. She graduated from Florence State Teachers College with a degree in Elementary Education. She taught school for several years before she became a mother and full-time homemaker.

Annette was a Proverbs 31 woman. She spent her life serving the Lord, supporting her husband, training their children, befriending a countless number of people, being a prayer warrior, and adoring her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Annette was absolutely the best daughter, sister, wife, mother, auntie, grandma and friend. She will be missed every day, but we take comfort in the promise that we will be together again.

A private family graveside celebration of life is planned. Grandsons Thomas, Ben, Joshua, Ethan, and Caleb will serve as pallbearers.

To honor her please consider making a donation to One Church-Calvary Building Fund, The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, or the B.W. Balch Scholarship at M.T.S.U.

The family would like to thank HoneyHill HomeCare, Alive Hospice, TN Oncology, and a special thanks to Dr. Jeremy McDuffie.

“This is the day the Lord has made. Let us be glad in it.”  Psalm 118:24
