She was born and raised in Poplarville, Mississippi. Annelle graduated with Honors from the University of Southern Mississippi with a degree in Elementary Education. Her first job was a first grade teacher in Natchez, Mississippi. She met John, the love of her life, at a party for the new teachers the first night in Natchez. Annelle was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. She was an active member of Whitesburg Baptist Church and her Life Group for 54 years. She taught in the children’s department for many years. She also taught Kindergarten at Whitesburg Baptist Church for 7 years. After raising her children, she worked at the law firm of Lammons, Bell, and Rhodes for 17 years.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family and friends dearly. Her family adored her and considered her a true example of the Proverbs 31 woman.

(Debbie) Stuart; two nieces; one great niece; and two great nephews.

She loved watching her grandchildren participate in activities and sports at Whitesburg Christian Academy. In lieu of flowers, she requested donations be made to Whitesburg Christian Academy.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Whitesburg Baptist Church Chapel, South Campus, 7300 Whitesburg Drive. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Darryl Craft officiating. There will be a private family burial.
