Anne Worley Gattis, 89, a native of Huntsville, passed away Saturday. A loving wife and mother, Anne could always be counted on to be at every school event and ballgame for her children. A fabulous cook, Anne was known for some of the best home cooked meals and enough food to feed the neighborhood.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Earl and her son Mike. She is survived by her daughters Carolyn Gattis Francisco (Jerry), Susan Gattis Turner, and her grandson Eric Michael Turner, M.D.
The family is forever grateful for the loving care provided by LaTonya Lanier and Mildred Lanier.
A graveside service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery.
